Question

Under what conditions the value of P/Twill be constant irrespective of the value of T ?

Solution

For a certain mass of gas at constant volume, P/T= K (constant). Thus, the value of P/T is constant for a fixed mass of gas at constant volume no matter what the value of T is. This follows from Gay-Lussac’s law.
