The fuse wire rated for 15A shall be thicker. It is meant for power and heating circuit where normal operating current is higher than fan & lighting circuit. The fuse should not blow during normal circuit operation causing unnecessary disruption of service. Therefore, a bigger cross section of the wire is needed to sustain normal flow of current.
