Chapter: Current Electricity
Question
State Ohm’s law?
Solution
According to Ohm’s law, at a constant temperature and all physical conditions of a conductor remaining same, the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across its ends. If the current flowing through the conductor is I when the potential difference across its two ends is V, then according to Ohm’s law,
I proportional to V or, V =I. R where R is the resistance of the conductor.
