In going through a prism, a ray of light of wavelength corresponding to the colour A suffers more deviation than the colour B. Which ray travels with greater velocity in the prism?
Solution
More the velocity less is the deviation. Since the ray of colour B suffers less deviations, its velocity in the prism is greater than that of the colour A.
