Chapter: Behaviour of Gases
Question
If the temperature of a body rises by 20° in Celsius scale, what will be the corresponding rise in temperature in Kelvin scale?
Solution
Each division in Kelvin scale, called 1 K, is equal to each division on Celsius scale (i.e.., equal to 1°C). Thus, the temperature rises in Kelvin scale corresponding to 20°C rise in Celsius scale is 20 K.
